A successful track for one of the Scottish trackin A successful track for one of the Scottish tracking teams yesterday.

Roe doe track called in yesterday.
Shot at 0700 along with a kid.
The stalker was struggling to find the doe after looking with his own dog for around 40 mins
He called on Frank who arrived around 1430 with ally his tracking Dog.

Due to heat and amount of time stalker spent looking after initial kid gralloch with the added issues of the stalker and his dog contaminating the area.
Frank thought his best option was to allow Ally free roaming to cover ground using his Garmin Atemos GPS tracking system to follow her every move ,
so she could try and work out was the actual route the deer took and what was contaminated by the stalker and his dog .
After approx 25 mins Ally had located the dead Roe Doe and recovery made πŸ¦ŒπŸ•
Well done to the stalker for even making the call after searching with his own dog first πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
Well done to Frank & Ally on the recoveryπŸ¦ŒπŸ•πŸ‘Œ

Nice easy track for one of our Tracking team tonig Nice easy track for one of our Tracking team tonight..
Stalker had suspected heart/lung .
shot reaction looked right , but lack of evidence at the shot site and nothing in the direction the deer looked to have ran caused some doubt.
So instead of spending the darkness searching decided to give Richard his local tracker a call for help and advice.
Short while later Richard & Storm arrived and few minutes later a very dead deer was recovered
Well done to the stalker for calling first instead of trampling the area recklessly..πŸ‘πŸ‘
